The storyline of this hidden object puzzle adventure might be even better than the story of the famous Jack Sparrow. With a puzzle playing dead pirates and lots of wealth all around, what’s not to enjoy? While the storm is raging outside, why not sit down and play a puzzle or two with a pirate who has a good story to tell?
Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride – This game came out a few years back but it’s still one of the best that can be found and played. This kind of story is mostly found in fairy tales. A broken carriage in the beautiful woods will introduce you to the code drama here but you will want to stay for all of the cuteness and great puzzles in this game developed by European developers.
Phantasmat Series – This one is on the darker side just like Nightmares from the Deep. Behind this great hidden object game stands a town that was submerged underwater in a dam accident. For any player who wants to go deeper, the Collector’s Edition is available. The adventure begins when your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere with only a small path left to follow. It takes you to the small town’s hotel where you meet a most interesting character that will make you question every single detail you see. Just be warned: this game is a bit on the scary side. What I mentioned here only concerns the first game. You can play the newer games in the series which came out not long ago if you’re looking for something more calming.
